Check out the Zanda Panda Blog post on two-color chocolate cake toppers and No-Bake Backwards Cakes for the Kaleidoscope Heart and Butterfly Molds. The Heart mold, is PERFECT for Valentine's Day! They look like cameos and can have a very pretty 'marbled' effect.

For this cake , I used Ghirardelli's white chocolate, the first layer was tinted with rose colored gel food coloring, second layer, white chocolate. Very romantic, decadent Valentine's Day dessert, yes?

A new demo is up at http://www.zandapanda.com/polymerclay1.asp on making polymer clay jewelry (pins and pendants) in heart and butterfly shapes. Very easy to make, although young children might need adult supervision when baking the clay and handling the pin backs. You can also use these appliqués to decorate trinket boxes, hair ornaments, fridge magnets, napkin rings, for scrapbooking and for many other crafts projects.

As you may know if you're on our mailing list, we shut down the forum many months ago. Messages from gamers promoting their sites weren't too very offensive, but when several posts went beyond a PG rating, we froze the forum. When we find a willing and able moderator, we'll give it another go.

Zanda Panda's Kaleidoscope Collection will debut at the International Housewares Show in Chicago, March 22-24, 2009. Zanda Panda is honored to be one of twenty companies invited by IHA to participate in their Media Welcome Reception, 5:30 - 7:00 pm Sunday, March 22, 2009, in Room N227b, North Building, Level 2 at McCormick Place. The Kaleidoscope Heart cake/cookie/crafts mold will be featured in the New Products Showcase at the Buyers Club in the South Building (GOHO) and Zanda Panda Specialty Bakeware will be in Booth # S 3571, South Bldg, near the GOHO Cooking Theater.

Here's a new demo of Kaleidoscope Cookies made with the Kaleidoscope Butterfly and Heart molds. It shows how to make two-toned cookies, which can also be used for ice cream sandwiches and also really cute mini sandwich cookies!
